Health Care Services

The Health Care Services Mission is to provide constitutionally mandated health care to the offenders of the Arizona Department of Corrections, while protecting the health of its employees. To accomplish this, Health Services has several Program and Specialty Areas for the employee and offender needs.

The Arizona Department of Corrections provides offenders reasonable and appropriate access to medical and dental health care at reasonable fees. Appropriate and uninterrupted health care be provided to offenders with chronic health conditions. ADC ensures that all offenders are provided access to scheduled and emergency (as needed) health care, and are not refused health care treatment due to financial reasons.
