Q: How can I get information on the release of a specific inmate?
A: Public information regarding offenders, such as sentence length, type of conviction and current complex information can be obtained from our Inmate Data Search. For more specific release date information, please call 602-542-3896 and ask for the Time Computation Unit.

Q: Where can I get a list of inmates on Death Row?
A: A list of Death Row Inmates can be viewed by going to the Death Row Index page.

Q: How can I get a copy of the ADC Annual Report?
A: It is available on-line, or in hard copy from Arizona's Library Archives and Public Records Division.

Q: Where can I get information on the Death Penalty in the State of Arizona?
A: Some information is available on-line.   A small packet of information is available from the ADC Public Access Office by mail. The book "Profiles of Arizona's Death Row Inmates" is available from the Arizona Attorney General's Office, 1275 West Washington St.  Phoenix,  AZ 85007  (Tel 602-542-4686).

Q: Where can I obtain information on executed inmate Last Meal Requests?
A: View the Last Meal Requests web page.

Q: How do I send mail, a TV or other items to an inmate?
A: Contact the respective Prison Complex directly.  See also Attachment A, DO 909, Authorized Inmate Property.

Q: Why is a specific inmate in detention?
A: Contact the respective Prison Complex directly for full information.

Q: What is the difference between Jail and Prison?
A: Jails in Arizona are county entities, while prisons are run by the state. Please refer to a county's Sheriff or Law Enforcement website for information on the county jails.

Q: Where is a specific inmate being housed?
A: Check the Most Recent Location listed on the Inmate Datasearch page.

Q: I am a reporter and I want to interview an inmate...
A: Arizona Department of Correction's policy is to allow telephone interviews only. Interviews are arranged by ADC Media Relations Office, from where further details may be obtained.

Q: How many women are on ADC's Death Row?

Q: Do inmates work?
A: Please check with the prison complex's page to see which work programs are offered.

Q: Do inmates receive education classes?

Q: Do inmates get paid?
A: Inmates do get paid. Please refer to Department Order 903 for more information.

Q: Where can I obtain a history of executions in Arizona?
