Gabriel Saucedo

Correctional Officer Gabriel Saucedo passed away on June 2, 2005 at Mount Graham Community Hospital in Safford.

Officer Saucedo was assigned to ASPC-Safford. He was alone in an ADC vehicle at his assigned post on perimeter patrol when his assigned weapon discharged. Although it's early in the investigation, every indication points toward an accidental discharge.

Officer Saucedo, age 36, had been an employee of ADC since May 2004. He was married and the father of three.
