ADC Honored at 38th Annual 100 Club Banquet
ADC Director Dora Schriro and several ADC employees attended the 100 Club of Arizona's 38th Annual Banquet and Meeting, held on Thursday, March 30 at the Chaparral Suites Ballroom in Scottsdale. The event was held to thank sponsors and contributors to the Arizona 100 Club.ADC was awarded a plaque by Arizona 100 Club Executive Director Sharon Knutson-Felix for the department's outstanding fundraising efforts last year. The department contributed a total of $78,600 through the annual State Employees Charitable Campaign. Overall, ADC is the top law enforcement contributor to the Arizona 100 Club. The 100 Club has been in existence for 38 years. In 2005 the Arizona chapter paid $301,000 in benefits to 64 Public Safety Officers and Firefighters who were seriously injured and 12 who were killed in the line of duty. As part of the law enforcement community, ADC Officers risk their lives on a daily basis to ensure the safety and security of the public.
