ADC Gears up for Upcoming
LETR
Employees from the Arizona
Department of Corrections met with their colleagues from other Arizona law
enforcement agencies to coordinate their efforts for the 2006 Law Enforcement
Torch Run. The meeting, held on February 1st in Prescott, Arizona,
was attended by Sgt. Laura Landers, Sgt. Christy Henson, CO III
Eric Abt, CO II Kathleen Sucku and AAIII Danielle Hallahan. The
motto for this year's event is "Imagine the Possibilities". Last
year, ADC raised more than $49,000, the second highest in Arizona.
The Law
Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is an international series
of torch relays, run by law enforcement personnel, leading up to each state or
nation’s Summer Games. Law enforcement personnel raise money in conjunction with
respective Torch Runs for their local Special Olympics programs.
