Dear Colleague: Thank you for making the car wash fundraiser to benefit the family of Police Officer David Uribe a tremendous success. Your generosity and hard work helped collect over $2,800 in donations. All of the money you raised and contributed including the donations that were collected on Sunday at the two car washes will be processed through a survivor’s account set up by the 100 Club for the Uribe family. The 100 Club is an organization that is dedicated to supporting our staff and others in law enforcement that have been seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. Volunteering to wash cars on the weekend, and showing up to have your car washed in another part of town on your RDO, not to mention on this year’s hottest weekend, is the sign of consummate corrections professionals. I am proud to serve along side of you. You made Sunday, May 22, a good day to remember for the Uribe family. You represent the heart and soul of the Arizona Department of Corrections with panache.
