Inmates from Arizona State Prison Complex-Florence and Eyman used their artistic talents to help children who are victims of sexual assault.

On April 26, their work was unveiled at the Pinal County Family Advocacy Center dedication ceremony. Inmates from ASPC-Florence’s Picacho Unit painted ocean murals and landscaped the property. ASPC-Eyman Cook Unit inmates shaped and created metal lettering rock signs  and figurines for the grounds of the building.

The Pinal County Family Advocacy Center is kid friendly. It has an area where children can play; while, they’re waiting to be medically examined or interviewed by Child Protective Services' detectives.

CPS, ADC, the Pinal County Attorney’s Office and several county police agencies assisted in the completion of the Pinal County Family Advocacy Center.

Governor Janet Napolitano and Attorney General Terry Goddard participated in a ribbon-cutting during the ceremony.
