Director Discusses Criminal Alien Deportation Director Dora Schriro appeared on KAET-TV Horizon on July 13 to discuss the deportation of criminal aliens housed in the Arizona Department of Corrections. Currently, ADC has 4,179 illegal alien inmates that cost Arizona taxpayers $223,000 a day. Approximately 552 of those inmates have completed their sentences and are eligible for deportation immediately. Two hundred of those inmates are waiting solely for a signature from an Immigration and Customs Enforcement supervisor to be deported.
