The Arizona Department of Corrections Health Services Advisory Committee
was established to provide the Department an opportunity
to work closely with community subject matter experts in
addressing the following: recruitment, standards for healthcare,
training, policy and procedure development, vulnerabilities,
etc. The committee is seen as a vital link between the Department
and the private sector and is essential in the ongoing development
of the Arizona Department of Corrections' healthcare delivery system.
