MEDIA VISITS TO ARIZONA STATE PRISONS Film crews and still photographers interested in shooting background footage at any Arizona Department of Corrections facility must first gain permission by contacting the Media Relations Administrator at (602)542-3133. Clearance must be obtained for any individual wishing to visit a prison. The Department retains the right to refuse access to any individual it considers a risk to the safe and secure operation of its institutions. The following information is required for clearance purposes:
Photography or filming of any security device is prohibited. Strict adherence to security procedures will be required when entering any facility. Individuals will not be allowed admittance if they are wearing blue denim pants or chambray shirts. Orange clothing is also not allowed. Current photo identification will be required for admittance to any secure area. Individuals will not be allowed to carry more than 20 US Dollars into any unit. No weapons or narcotics of any sort will be allowed. |
