Perryville Christmas Donations

December 27, 2007

ASPC-Perryville staff and inmates have made the holidays a little merrier for thousands of children in need.

Inmates collected $19,263 from their personal funds to donate to the Salvation Army. Salvation Army Lt. Colonel Dan Mowery was presented with the check on December 20.

The staff also collected over 150 toys for the Salvation Army Christmas Angels program.

Salvation Army officials believe at least 2,000 children will receive a gift this holiday season, thanks to the generous donations from ASPC-Perryville.

CO III Barbara Lancaster, with the assistance of Lt. Jennifer Lalonde and Sgt. Danielle Ortiz, coordinated the donations from staff and inmates.
