Inmate Death Notification

 

 

 

Phoenix, Ariz. – On August 14, 2009, Erick Cervantes ADC #221398 age 30, died while in Arizona Department of Corrections custody Friday after apparently committing suicide.

Cervantes, serving 2 and a half years for Misconduct involving weapons, was pronounced dead at 4:02 p.m. Friday. Cervantes came to ADC September 11, 2007 and was held at the Special Management Unit, ASPC-Eyman.

The incident is under investigation by the department.
