ADC family member wins 100 Club Scholarship

October 2, 2009

The 3rd Annual Jason Schechterle Scholarship Ball was held at the Arizona Grand Ballroom on Sept. 26 and the winner of the 2009 100 Club of Arizona $5,000 Scholarship was the daughter of Arizona Department of Corrections Sgt.Vincent Giudice.  Robin Supernant is currently attending Cochise College in Douglas to get her Associate’s Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology.

Starting next year, Ms. Supernant plans on attending Kansas State University in order to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Technology, with a minor in Aviation Safety.  So far, she has earned her FAA Airframe Certification and her FAA Powerplant Certification.  Not surprisingly, Robin plans on getting her private pilots license and is on her way to living her dream of becoming an aircraft mechanic.

Robin expressed her gratitude to the 100 Club of Arizona for awarding her with this scholarship, saying without it the opportunity for her amazing education would not have been possible.  She is also a past recipient of the 2008 David Felix $2,500 Scholarship of Excellence.
