Electric Light Parade “Bright Light” Award

Sgt. Carlos Torres of ASPC-Lewis proudly accepts the Electric Light Parade “Bright Light” Award from City of Phoenix Public Information Officer David Urbinato at a ceremony acknowledging all the award-winning holiday float entries. The Arizona Department of Corrections was selected from an impressive number of float submissions for its creative and effective use of lights.  This is the second consecutive year ADC won an award in this category. 

The Electric Light parade is a City of Phoenix-sponsored event, which typically draws more than 200,000 spectators. In addition to the floats, performance groups and bands also take part.
