Crab Shacks host Tip a Cop

The Arizona Department of Corrections participated in a statewide Tip A Cop event on June 17 at Joe’s Crab Shack in Tempe and Tucson, raising over $2000 for the Law Enforcement Torch Run benefiting Special Olympics Arizona. 

CO II John Risch, ASPC-Florence, was joined by five athletes at the restaurant at 1606 West Baseline in Tempe, collecting $400 in tips and donations.  CO II Chris Kriebel and CO II Steven Coleman, ASPC-Eyman, worked at the restaurant at 1604 East Southern in Tempe and helped raise $418. 

At the Joe’s Crab Shack in Tucson, CO II Rebecca Hause, CO II Val Valenzuela, CO II Michael Duhon and Tucson Warden Sandra Walker raised $681.

Joe’s Crab Shack also donated another $550, bringing the total to $2049.
