FUNShoot Fundraiser

The First Annual LETR FUNShoot fundraiser for Special Olympics is being hailed as a great success. The skeet shoot event, sponsored by ASPC-Safford, was held on May 19 at the Safford Range.

ESA Rachel Walker, one of the coordinator’s of the event, says they had five squads of five shooters. Prizes were awarded to the top three shooters who had the highest combined score.

Walker says Coke donated a concession trailer and coke products and the event was sponsored by Abacus Embroidery and Gila Outdoor. Between raffles, registrations and concessions, the FUNShoot Fundraiser brought in over $1,500 for the LETR.
