During the 2007 State Employees Charitable Campaign, over 4,600 corrections
employees contributed $468,927 in payroll deductions and one-time
contributions. In addition to this generous amount, the department also
raised $117,994 in special event money of which $74,262
was raised by ADC inmates for various charities. Overall,
state employees pledged a total of $2,331,724 to charitable
organizations through the SECC.
This year’s milestone campaign would not have been possible without your
generosity. In a growing community, your gift will support families in
crisis and strengthen neighborhoods. Local contributions also will help feed
seniors, provide financial support for our fallen or injured officers,
shelter battered women and children, and support the homeless. No other gift
can touch so many people who need help like your one gift to SECC.
Carrying out such a large scale campaign is realized through the efforts of
ADC coordinators thoughout our agency who donate their time and talents to
making such a tremendous impact. These coordinators also had many other
volunteers who assisted them in their efforts and they too should not go
unnoticed.

in SECC and for doing what matters.
