OFFICE OF VICTIM SERVICES

Who are We?

The Office of Victim Services (OVS)
within the Arizona Department of
Corrections strives to ensure that
ALL CRIME VICTIMS ARE TREATED
WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT
throughout an inmate's incarceration
and community supervision/parole
periods. OVS provides comprehensive
services to victims and survivors
of crime.

Mission Statement:

The purpose of the ADC Office of Victim Services
is to provide crime victims/survivors with:

  • Mandated inmate release notifications,
  • Resources pertaining to inmate adjudication, and
  • Support for victim throughout inmates' incarceration
    and community supervision.

In addition, ADC Office of Victims Service's staff will
advocate change within the inmate population by illustrating the
real impact of crime on victims through restorative justice methods;
including, education, victim impact panels, and dedicated services to
the community.
